Taunton’s independent quarter is just around the corner with restaurants & shops & there’s easy access to the town, Quantock Hills, seaside, motorway, Exeter, Bath, Bristol & beyond. We offer residential street parking & the house comfortably accommodates 1-6 guests

There are a number of stunning hills, forests, & coastlines to explore not forgetting the opportunity to reward yourself with a local cream tea! All within an easy drive.

Unwind in the beautiful Somerset countryside. Set within a wing of this historic medieval stone Manor House, Otters Holt at Chipley Escapes is on the first floor and accessed via its own private entrance and staircase. A very cosy 2 bedroom ground floor flat, in central Taunton. The property is a short 5 minute walk away from both the Taunton canal and river. The M5 motorway is 2 miles away from the property and just a short 5 minute drive. Taunton train station is a 15 minute walk away and 3 minute drive. It is also a very close walk to the town centre and Somerset County Cricket Ground. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, most within walking distance. There is one allocated parking space.

Our newly appointed annexe offers the perfect setting central to Taunton. Ideally located close to the train station, Nuffield Hospital, Taunton School, and Musgrove Park Hospital . Whether you’re a solo adventurer or a small family (the sofa converts into a comfortable bed on request), our annexe is thoughtfully equipped to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Including a small private, fenced patio area, and you might see our friendly spaniel running around.
