Our 1000 Square Foot terrace is very unique for a downtown location. You have a 270 degree view of the downtown and is a perfect entertainment spot. It's great for sunbathing and some pre-dinner drinks and conversation, or even an intimate catered dinner party. Come have a great time in a safe and secure building with 24 hour concierge and security. Upon arrival, you will generally find fresh flowers, coffee, tea, cream, milk, some juice and beer and a bottle of sparkling wine, plus my favourite Lindt chocolate bar :) Please let me know if you require any additional items prior to your stay and I will do my best to accommodate. There are 3 private bedrooms with queen size hotel style beds. Each of the first two have their own ensuite bathroom + the custom wall to wall cozier 3rd bedroom has a curved OLED High Def TV. There is an available roll-away bed for groups of 7 people, though the 7th person will be in the living area. Each bedroom comes equipped with their own private hotel style safe. There are 3 bathrooms in total. The first has a tub/shower, the second a marble shower and the third is a two piece bathroom. Toiletries are provided. The Kitchen comes fully equipped with all cooking utensils and pots and pans. There is also a Reverse Osmosis water filter with it's own tap at the kitchen sink. If you're a coffee lover, you're really going to enjoy our coffee selection. If needed, parking is in our own private spot off the elevators and is included at no extra charge. Lastly, please note that our spectacular and cozy sister property is right next door with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. It sleeps five and also boasts a south view with another 1,000 foot terrace. Together, we can accommodate up to 12 guests. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to make your stay more comfortable. Access of the gym and outdoor space with BBQ is included. (6th floor) Note: If for some reason we cannot meet and greet you upon your arrival, we will send you the lock-box instructions. You can call us at any time for help. The western end of Queen is best known as a centre for Canadian broadcasting, music, fashion, performance, and the visual arts. Chinatown is just a few blocks away for an after-club meal. Famous Queen Street West is just a block away for shopping. Public transit is closeby... streetcars on Queen Street and King Street, plus the Osgoode Subway station is just a short 2 minute walk. Both Union Station (train) and The Bus Terminal are just a 10 minute walk, Billy Bishop (Island Airport) is 10 minute taxi ride away and Pearson Airport can be reached by taxi or by the UP express train from Union Station. Please adhere to the following; No more than 7 sleeping in the suite ...no more than 10 in the suite or on the terrace. There have been numerous noise complaints and management have told us that evictions and $500.00 fines are coming our way for any guests that are loud. We have no say once security gets involved. NO loud music NO parties. NO events without prior written consent. NO smoking indoors (balcony only) Please be respectful of your surroundings and the neighbours. The majority of the people who live in the building are full-time residents who go to work and don't want to have to deal with excessive noise and problems. The location is central to everything. Public transportation within walking distance. Shopping, restaurants,bars, yoga you name it, within your reach. This is perfect for a short stay or long/term. This house was completely renovated from top to bottom less than a year ago. It looks old, but everything is new and fresh. Top of the line appliances, including new washer and dryer for your use. PLEASE NOTE: WE CHARGE $35 EXTRA FOR USE OF SOFA BED IF YOU HAVE 4 GUESTS OR LESS. Our 4 guest included charge assumes to beds upstairs used. Our Airbnb rating relies on proper communication and accuracy with guest counts and reviews. If you have an issue during a stay that would result in anything less than a 5 star review, we expect you to message us regarding it. We have a lot of properties and a team that soley runs these and puts forth their best to make our houses your "homes"-please respect that and realize that little things like bringing in extra guests without notifying costs our housekeepers and extra hour of work to flip extra beds. We get that things happen, just please inform us. Each member of our team has families of their own and work 7 days a week as schedules dictate. Majority of our guests have been amazing, but we have had a few really rotten ones and it isn't fun to deal with. We aren't kidding when we say we would rather have a vacancy than crabby people :). Walk to downtown and easily reach anywhere in the Detroit metropolitan area. A quick 25 min from Detroit Metro Airport. Easy to use public transportation or get an Uber or Lyft car. It is also a very walkable area. We strive for 5 star reviews and we want to give you one in return. Please, communicate! We have our amazing host on-call just for you-let us know what you need. This house is in the city and on a busy street. You will need to pull in and out of traffic (during rush hour) to access the driveway. We recently had a guest rate us less than 5 because they didn't feel we accurately informed them that there is traffic in the city and on a busy road, this is one out of our control and one thing we naively assumed everyone understood when driving in the city:( use caution when pulling into our driveway and please do NOT back out into traffic, but use the large drive area to turn around and safely exit the property.

I live 5 minutes away from the building and almost always greet guests upon their arrival to show them around and take them up to the suite. Cozy Blue House on the Shores of Lake Erie

Snuggle up on plush seating in front of the gas fireplace after a day of strolling along the shoreline of Lake Erie. With homey decor, a color palette of light gray, and whimsical nautical flourishes, this home radiates warmth. Sleeping quarters with queen beds and a full bathroom are located on the second story of the home. Entire house is available. Owner lives on same street. Washer and Dryer are in the basement where a half bath is located. Kitchen with microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, & gas range, toaster, tea kettle and coffee makers (auto and french press). Kitchen leads to the dining room and living room with ample room to kick back and enjoy friends and family or just relax with a good book. Staircase leads to the second story where you'll find two bedrooms and a full bathroom. Bedrooms have queen size beds and have upscale linens and plenty of room. Bathroom has a full sized shower and bathtub, with plenty of fresh clean towels. No Access to: room to the right side of fireplace and the exterior door in the master bedroom (due to a loose railing and screen door that needs replaced). I live just steps away from the property and can be available to answer any questions or assist you with any issues or concerns. All linens, throws, towels, dish towels and bath mats are cleaned with detergents free of dye and fragrances. Euclid Hospital is right next door to the house, with Lake Erie in its backyard. Several shops and restaurants are minutes away, and downtown Cleveland is a short drive away as well, with easy reach to attractions like the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The property sits on a dead end street and has a bus stop on the other end of the street, 2 minute walk from the front steps to the bus stop. I-90 is a 5 minute drive from the house which can take you to the downtown Cleveland area in just a few minutes. The Euclid Hospital is next door to the property and had a gate put in our fence so guests and residents of 191st Street could walk to the shoreline and enjoy Lake Erie. Several benches and tables are set amongst beautiful landscaping on the shoreline to enjoy a good book or walk the dog. Lake Erie is a very peaceful to sit and enjoy the waves or watch the boats.

Public transit options are the CTA El Train (Pink Line 18th stop is 0.7 mile walk from our house) or CTA Bus (18th & Racine stop is a block away). Once you’re at the transit stop both options take about a 20 - 30 minute to downtown. There are other bus lines nearby that take you other places (i.e. McCormick Place) - feel free to ask us for help when you arrive. Street parking is free in certain areas for those who are driving. We are a 20 minute cab ride from Midway International Airport and 40 minutes from O'Hare without heavy traffic, double these estimates if traffic is heavy (rush hour, accidents, etc).
