From it’s beautiful rural setting, walk just 17 minutes into the centre of town or take a short drive to Noosa and it’s stunning beaches. The cabin sits 60m from the regional train line, but don't let this deter you. The trains will peak your interest as they roll by, and the beautiful leafy-green outlook will allow you to immerse yourself in peaceful relaxation.

Relax at this peaceful place to stay. Views across the Great Sandy Strait to K’gari (Fraser Island). Total getaway with stunning white Sandy beaches and clear water. Take long walks at low tide across the Sandy expanses, and swim in calm waters or go kayaking during high tide. The fishing is excellent with a boat ramp near the shady park, picnic and BBQ area. Join Sally for an early morning bird watch or bird count from the main house verandah, wander the back paddocks, and take in the glorious sunsets. We’re just 8 km from the heritage city of Maryborough, 35 minutes from Hervey Bay, and about an hour and a half from Rainbow Beach. Or simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the peace and quiet (except for some noisy birds).

Riverview Getaway is a single storey 3 bedroom fully contained home with sweeping views of the Mary River taking in the Granville Bridge, cane fields and Bauple Mountain Range. It is a perfect base for a family holiday or a couples getaway exploring the Fraser Coast and our beautiful heritage city "Maryborough". The terraced river bank allows access to a large river flat and deepwater river frontage. Please note that the bank is steep but you are more than welcome to explore.
