Welcome to the Artist's Retreat, a beautiful and quaint 1 bedroom cape home directly on the Cayuga Inlet, once a studio for a renowned Ithaca artist. Enjoy watching the Cornell and IC rowing teams in the morning, seeing eagles and herons in the afternoon, and the 2-minute drive to restaurants, bars, and downtown in the evening! A wonderful loft bedroom offers a bright, airy feeling while still being cozy and comfortable. A pull-out chair and murphy bed are offered to give more sleeping options.

Disinfectant wipes provided & clean mattress covers provided. Taughannock falls State Park is just 6 miles south, along with several great wineries nearby & local town.

A magical treehouse perched over its own gorge on Cayuga Lake. This place is special! There’s a giant porch wrapped around a 300-year oak tree and a lakeside tea house that can serve as an extra bedroom. There’s a dock, fire pit, room for yard games by the water, plenty of outdoor seating on the porch, by the lake, or on the dock. All of this is minutes from downtown Ithaca, Cornell, and Taughannock Falls state park. It’s also a great base to explore the Finger Lakes wine region.

Quiet neighborhood. No guests, no parties, no motorized boats or jet skis, no pets, no smoking.

Just a short scenic drive away to downtown Ithaca, Cornell University, Ithaca College, Wells College, as well as local wineries, fine eateries, spectacular waterfalls, hiking trails and gorgeous state parks. A beautiful stream runs parallel to the home. Take a scenic walk on the retired railroad tracks. Finish your day relaxing in the heated massage chair!
