This restored 100 year old stone cottage is not just a place to come, it's a place to return to. Its idyllic location offers peace and relaxation. It's 6 miles north of Boyle and approx 15 miles from Sligo. Lough Arrow is one of Ireland’s renowned brown trout lakes. Guests have their own private jetty at the end of the garden, fishing is free and our boat is available to hire at extra cost. Carrowkeel's Megalithic tombs, older than Newgrange, are just across the lake and wonderful to explore.

Dooey Hill Cottage is nestled on the hillside by Dooey beach with Atlantic views, overlooking beautiful Traigheana bay (Bay of the Birds) and the mountains of Donegal. Our unique location looks directly over the Atlantic ocean and is literally on the water's edge; spray from the Atlantic ocean will actually hit your window! It is walking distance from all the excellent pubs and restaurants that Portrush has to offer and is an ideal base from which to explore all the wonders of the North Coast.

Shower room downstairs in our antique shop which is opened 1-5 during the summer months.

The bathroom has a bath and shower.It is a really cozy little space. There are two beautiful beaches within a short walking distance.
