Enjoying a peaceful setting in the Kent countryside, Copse Corner cottage provides an ideal location for a relaxing holiday and a chance to unwind. The cottage is very well equipped and is furnished to a high standard with access to private patio area overlooking a woodland habitat which enjoys a wide variety of wildlife. Nestled in the Kent countryside you will find this traditional oak framed self-catering hideaway with luxury finishes and beautiful surroundings. With stunning view and the historic village of Chilham just a short walk away, Copse Corner is an ideal location to explore the Garden of England. Set within the 4 acres of the Owners property and adjoining a private woodland and meadow, this is a perfect romantic retreat for a holiday or stolen weekend away and also a wildlife watcher's paradise! Copse Corner features a cosy open plan living/dining/kitchen area with vaulted ceilings. The kitchen has a country feel with Smeg induction hob and compact oven/microwave, a small fridge freezer, Nespresso machine with selection of capsules. A further separate utility room is available with a washing machine and laundry facilities. The living area features a wood-burning stove, especially useful on those chilly autumn nights, and a free supply of logs. The comfy seating area is an ideal place to relax and unwind, with a small selection of books and games available. Duck down through the quirky low doors to access the patio which is set in a quiet corner adjacent to the woodland and meadow. The bistro table and chairs offer the perfect spot to enjoy the birdsong and fresh country air, you may even catch a glimpse of the pheasants as well as other wildlife. Maybe take the opportunity to dine al fresco or enjoy breakfast (with the Owners' hens providing the eggs, when available). A dedicated parking space is available near to the Owners property. The Owners live close-by and are on hand should you need them, but otherwise will not disturb your stay. A warm welcome awaits our visitors who we are sure will have a truly memorable holiday. If we are not on-site please do not hesitate to call or text on our mobiles The cottage is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is a short walk from the historic village of Chilham with its Tudor period homes, tea room, 2 pubs and gift shop. Canterbury is a short car or train journey away. Within easy reach of London (37 minutes by high speed train from St Pancras to Ashford followed by a connection to Chilham Railway station). A peaceful setting to sit back and enjoy, or for those seeking something more energetic, try the walks and cycle routes nearby. A car is not essential for your stay as we are approximately 1 mile from the mainline railway at Chilham. Although trains can be few and far between so please check timetables before deciding on this option.

Cosy Woodland Annexe

Our Annexe is a modern, cozy space, with free parking. The annexe is adjoining our home, but guests have their own private entrance. Inside is a spacious lounge, with settee, table and chairs, TV with Netflix and WiFi. To set our guests up for the day, we offer a selection of complementary, delicious, home baked pastries for breakfast. There is a seperate good sized, bedroom overlooking the garden,with a double bed and wardrobe. There is modern shower room with toiletries provided.

Enjoy easy access to everything from this perfectly located little home on the Whitstable Road within a 10 minute walking distance from all the delights that Canterbury has to offer, with buses to Whitstable at your doorstep. This is a step free annexe to a Victorian family house, with your own separate entrance.There is free private parking as well as an option to use the EV charger for a nominal fee. You'll have your own fully equipped kitchen and cosy bedroom and bathroom with shower

A warm, stylish, peaceful retreat, perfect for a winter break, with seaside walks and cosy pubs a short stroll away. Treat yourself to a relaxing sauna with bracing cold plunge in the garden spa which is paid for separately. Enjoy Whitstable's great restaurants and cosy cafes. Alba Lodge is a double height space, designed with sustainability in mind. Drift off to sleep in the king size bed. Freshen up in the large walk in shower. Sauna and cold plunge is £30 per couple, per session.

The Cart Stable - A Stunning Countryside Retreat

The Cart Stable is a beautifully presented accommodation for two located in the quiet hamlet of Dargate in Kent at the entrance to the historic Blean Woods. It's ideal for exploring this wonderful part of Kent with beaches and bustling Kentish towns on our doorstep. This flexible accommodation will suit a couple or two friends and is fully self-contained, with an open plan area downstairs, and a large double bedroom and shower room upstairs. Sparrow’s Nest Cottage

Fully refurbished in 2022, Sparrow’s Nest Cottage is set alongside a Victorian house and has picturesque views of the rolling North Downs. The cottage is right on the North Downs/Pilgrim’s Way and is 6 miles from the historic cathedral city of Canterbury. The quintessential Kent village of Chilham is nearby, with the coast at Whitstable only a 30 minute drive away. There are great walks, lovely gardens, brilliant historical sites and excellent restaurants all within easy reach.

The Whitstable Oyster - a self-contained studio

The Whitstable Oyster is a private, self-contained studio in a converted side building of our family home. Situated on a quiet road, it’s a 10-minute walk to Whitstable’s high street and around 20 minutes to the beach, with a Co-op close by. Inside, you’ll find a king-size bed, TV, compact kitchen with hob and combi-oven, dining table, sofa, and a separate shower room with toilet. Free street parking is available. A practical and comfortable base to enjoy Whitstable from.

Canterbury's Nook is a ground floor apartment located in the heart of the historic city centre of Canterbury, nestled within the city walls and just a few steps from the beautiful West Gate Gardens. This apartment is ideally situated to experience all that Canterbury has to offer, while still being peacefully tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Step out the front door, and you'll find yourself surrounded by the city's beauty and famous sightseeing spots.
