The kitchen includes coffee and tea supplies. Easy walking to downtown Valdez. PLEASE NOTE, this house does not have a TV in it. Also, the living room/kitchen/dining room and 2 of the bedrooms plus one bath are all UPSTAIRS. The only rooms on the ground floor are a bedroom with queen bed, bathroom and laundry closet.

Great location for skiing/hiking Thompson pass or cross country skiing/hiking trails around the property. Handmade log furniture and Alaska themed books and treasures we have collected throughout the years are in the tiny home for your enjoyment. We are dog friendly and have a German shepherd mix.

A short 13 mile drive from Valdez will have you nestled in the woods where you will enjoy peace and serenity. Newly renovated Studio-Style BnB offers a private bathroom, and a "mostly" full kitchen. (There is no range/oven, but there is a toaster, Air-Fryer, microwave, and hot-plate for all your cooking needs!) This unit is upstairs with about 12 steps to the top.

Historic Thompson House

Thompson House is historic, quirky, unique and comfortable. It survived the 1964 9.2 earthquake and tsunami that caused Old Valdez to relocate to the new and present town site. An addition more than doubled the size of the original one room cabin which included an extensive remodel.
