Vintage Caravan, Rainforest & Lyrebirds

Our 1959-vintage caravan is just 12ft long, best for a couple or two friends. At a pinch, two children could sleep in the king single bed; see the photos and description further down. Wake up to the sounds of Lyrebirds, enjoy a private walk in our rainforest gully and stroll around the garden, one of the best private gardens in the Dandenongs. Offering a minimum one-night stay for a quick getaway, or stay longer & enjoy the peace, sit by the fire - made from a beer keg, and roast marshmallows.

The Beached Van

The Beached Van has come to rest in a private space amongst the Moonah trees at the back of our coastal landscaped garden. From your off street parking space a path leads to the renovated 1970’s caravan with all the creature comforts. The van has a queen bed, lounge area and kitchenette and a relaxed, coastal style. It is sheltered under a veranda with a deck area for lounging, a patio heater and BBQ. Stairs through the garden lead to the luxurious bathroom with floor heating and a big bath tub.

Country Retro Caravan Cottage

An off grid retro caravan by a dam in a country setting. Surrounded by nothing but peace & quite & the sounds of nature. If waking up to kangaroos & the sound of wildlife is the relaxing escape you need, then this country retro caravan cottage would be perfect for you! The main street of Smythesdale is 4kms away & has all the essentials you need, such as IGA, cafes, pubs, emergency services & more. Ballarat's Delacombe town centre is a 12 minute drive & Ballarat city is just a 20 minute drive.

Viscount Royal Caravan 1974 On Historic Property

The Viscount Royal Caravan 1974 is a huge (9 metre) & has been rejuvenated. Modern but with a fab 70’s atmosphere. It sits under a huge shed with carport, deck & overlooks farmland & bush. It is 50 metres from our old house. Daylesford is 7 minutes away with excellent cafes, restaurants, shops & well-being indulgences. Wineries & galleries are plentiful within a small radius. The “Swiss Mountain Hotel”, our local, has good food, a nice atmosphere & is only 5 minutes to the west in Blampied.

The Deluxe Eco Retreats are for experience seekers- classy camping, a South African Safari tent on an elevated floor with private ensuite, kitchenette, TV, electric heating and cooling, deck & BBQ. Bush views birds and kangaroo. The Retreats can sleep a maximum of 3 adults and 1 child, or 2 adults and 2 children. Tariff is for 2 adults. An additional 3rd adult are an extra charge of $50 per night and children are an additional $30/child/night. Children under 2 years are NOT permitted
