Cozy mountain house in a quiet neighborhood just 10 minutes from downtown Boone and ASU. Enjoy the beautiful western sunsets of the mountains while relaxing in the porch swing. Home has fully equipped kitchen. Living room has cable tv, WiFi and fireplace. Property has wonderful shade trees to kick back under and enjoy the surrounding farm land and cattle. The Alpine A-Frame

The Alpine A is a solar powered structure on a lean-to roof, built by Gary from the show "Mountain Men" on History Channel. A deck with gas firepit, small grill, a couple folding chairs. Inside is a small living room, kitchenette, toilet room, shower room, queen size bed, twin size bed in the loft, the couch is a futon sleeper. If you've ever wondered what a tiny home is like, now is your chance to experience it in the Alpine A! We are less than 7 minutes from Boone.

Rustic Mountain Cabin

Our log cabin nestled in the “High Country” of North Carolina has been in the family since 1979 when my grandparents, looking for a place to retire, moved here after falling in love with the area. The cabin was originally built in Virginia but was moved to Valle Crucis in the 1950s. Our dream has been to turn it into a peaceful mountain get-away for people looking for a break from the busyness of life to enjoy some time in the valley to rest, relax and explore the area.
