Welcome to our new building. "A Room With a Brew" is located above Belfast's newest craft brewery, Frosty Bottom Brewing. A small community supported brewery open 2 days/week for 3-4 hours for beer share members. Guests can request a tour of the brewery and sample some fresh beer. Owners live in downtown Belfast and are available should any issues arise during your stay. The apartment/brewery is located 3 miles from downtown on a quiet road that offers local hiking and biking.

This coastal town is truly a gem, but if you’d like to explore further afield, it’s also an excellent base for day trips to Camden (30 minutes) or Acadia National Park (1.25 hours.) Majestic private waterfront Tipi * on a lake. Quiet nature oasis with hot tub, woodstove, firepit, modern grill, and all the essentials. Ice skate or xc-ski across the frozen lake and watch the bald eagles fly overhead, or relax in the Adirondack chairs in front of the bonfire while you make smores and cook dinner on the grill or over the open fire, then snuggle up inside the tipi while you listen to vintage vinyl and let the owls hoot you to sleep. *Tipi closed March-April.

Halcyon Ridge is owned by Lynn & Chuck Hadyniak, who live nearby. Lynn & Chuck moved out of New Jersey years ago to get away from the hustle & bustle, & raise a family in peace. They love Freedom for its quiet & natural beauty, & would love to host people at Halcyon Ridge who also want to escape the noise. Stargazers will be delighted: low humidity, expansive view of the southeastern sky, & next to no light pollution, make for wonderful viewing. Rest. Relax. Recharge.

SNOW SWEET, A Yurt for All Seasons

Snow Sweet at The Appleton Retreat is very private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt faces the Field of Dreams and has a nice view of Appleton Ridge. It features a private therapeutic hot tub on the deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.
