Artist's Retreat Guest House

The Artist's Retreat Guest House is a two-bedroom Craftsman bungalow in the Earlham College neighborhood that welcomes adults visiting our community of Richmond, Indiana. It features a living area, a fully equipped kitchen, a library filled with art books, a garden, fine antiques, and works by regional and international artists. Sorry, but no children, pets, or smoking. We keep the house allergen-free and many of the art pieces are too fragile or heavy for the safety of children and animals.

You will be amazed staying in our unique 1940 Cape Cod nestled in one of the finest historical neighborhoods in the area, known as Reeveston. You'll enjoy the 218 surrounding homes all registered on the National Historical Places list with varying architectural styles (a perfect spot for a scenic walk). From the moment you step foot inside our cozy home, you'll sense the peaceful and serene feeling of the nostalgic atmosphere with up to date amenities. Just minutes from shopping and dining.

Located on the 4th Floor of the Loft Highway Building in the heart of Richmond’s Historic Depot District. The Loft Highway houses such local businesses as Roscoe’s Coffee Bar & Tap Room, Lisa’s Cakes, Oblivion Cinema & Arts, Journey Yoga Studio, and The Art of Hair Salon and Metamorphosis Day Spa. Second floor of an 1865 Tin shop, industrial building. High, open beam ceilings & exposed brick walls. Bathroom features a soaker tub plus a lux walk in shower. The kitchen features quartz counters, a large farmhouse sink, really nice appliances and thoughtful touches everywhere. The wifi is excellent. Have issues with stairs? This is not a good choice for you. If you're up for stairs and want a unique slice of history in a hip package then you will not be disappointed.

We have a spacious, open-concept kitchen and livingroom suitable for larger families or even hosting a small gathering or event. Located in the country 1/2 way between Indianapolis, IN and Dayton OH, you will find easy access to I 70. This apartment is pet friendly ($15/night) and is equipped with fenced yards for exercise.

It is 3 blocks north of Earlham College, 3.7 miles from Reid Hospital-IU East and 2.5 miles from the Wayne County Fairgrounds. Built in 1958, it sleeps up to 5. It has a gas fireplace, deep soaking tub, laundry facilities and one-level interior. Across the street are a wooded park with rentable shelters, playground and basketball court.
