The Greenbrier River Trail is 2 miles away by car or bicycle, downtown Lewisburg is about 14 miles away, The Greenbrier Resort is 25.6 miles or approximately 33 minutes away.

A local banker and merchant built the house in the golden steam era. It features many of its original turn-of-the-century Victoria features, including oak woodwork, high ceilings, Chestnut flooring, and a wide stairway to the second level. This is the most popular suite at the Lodge.
