During WINTER: must have AWD or FWD, experience driving in serious winter weather (snow, severe wind, extreme cold); the cabin is located on gravel roads & dirt driveway. For the adventure traveler, try a night or two in a sheep wagon. Home on wheels to early sheep herders in the mountains of Montana, this hand built wagon sits on our 30 acre homestead. Finished under canvas with tongue and groove pine, this very small space offers a unique lodging experience. Inside is a nice queen size bed, 2 bench seats, and a pull out dining table. Enjoy mountain views from the outside bench, rocker & fire pit. Bathroom facilities in our nearby shop.

Dexter Peak cabin, elegantly rustic near YNP/Chico

Dexter Peak Cabin is located near the base of the mountains on a 25 acre parcel shared with our home but still private. Close to Livingston, Chico Hot Springs, Yellowstone River, waterfalls, hiking and fishing, and 35 minutes to Yellowstone Park. Cabin is located about 200' from owner's home but the outdoor areas are oriented away from the home and toward the mountains. Little to no traffic as we are a couple with no kids. Dexter Peak Road is a great road for walking!

Centrally located in a quiet part of Paradise Valley at the base of majestic Emigrant Peak. Enjoy incredible mountain views from the spacious great room as you cozy up to the gas fireplace.
