Original features include old doors, pine floors feature fireplaces, and log burning stove, a dining area and a light fitted kitchen. Homely and comfortable. Bedroom one has standard uk size single bed , the master has a Kingsize with feather duvets, and pillows, White Company sheets and countryside views. The bathroom on this floor has a shower over the bath.

The Potting Shed

Our converted milking parlour in the heart of the York plain is a unique one bed, self contained tiny house! With access to York and the surrounding area, it is a perfect place for a weekend away or a longer stay for business, retreat, escape. There is a bus that runs from just outside to York. They do not run at the weekends during winter and never on a Sunday. There is a train station 3 miles away. Parking is available on the road. There is a shop 2 minutes away. No pets or children.

Built on the historical site of Syningthwaite the cottages are named as such because of their close proximity to the Syningthwaite Priory. Each cottage is named after a Prioress that ruled the Priory during its life time. Alice's cottage is a spacious cottage which has its own private garden and BBQ. A hot tub can be added to the booking for £75 per stay.
