It is a great place to start your northern journey or a base for your trip to Tiritiri Matangi Island wildlife sanctuary. It is minutes to many local beaches, ten minutes to Gulf Harbour and 10 - 15 minutes to Orewa and the motorway.

The Stables Cottage - North West Auckland

The Stables is a quaint country rural cottage set amongst rolling green hills, this fully self contained rustic cottage is beautifully appointed and sleeps up to 4 adults or 2 couples in 2 bedrooms. The cottage sits in the gardens of the owners farmhouse yet you are in complete privacy of all, on this working beef farm. Its location is central to many wedding venues & vineyards and only 45 minutes from Auckland's CBD, making this a perfect location for wedding accomodation or a country escape.

With a choice of vineyards, breweries, strawberry picking or walking the trails of the Riverhead Forest there is something for everyone. 15 mins drive to the beautiful black sand beach of Muriwai, famous for its gannet colony, surfing, golf course and stunning sunsets. We are located perfectly for access to Auckland’s West Coast beaches and the Waitakere Regional Park with its spectacular hills and forests and delightful Titirangi Village. Central Auckland is only 25 mins drive away. The Punga studio is small, but with everything necessary for a comfortable stay.

Five minutes from motorway, 30 minutes from Harbour bridge.
