We have highland cattle, goats, ducks, pigs, Rufus the donkey, and more! Explore the 6+ miles of trails on the property, with the mountain summit featuring expansive, gorgeous views of the foothills. Sleeping Bear Cabin is nestled away in a private mountain community that has it's own lake and just a two minute drive to the New River at the entrance of the community. The cabin is surrounded by forest with a main deck and an upper deck. Just recently remodeled and redecorated, we designed Sleeping Bear to be the perfect place for anyone to enjoy the mountain life. Fishing, walking, biking, hiking, tubing, kayaking, bird, butterfly, wildlife watchers and 35 -45 minutes to skiing.

Private, cozy and quiet cottage in the trees yet only about a mile from the heart of town. Stainless steel appliances and tv with streaming services Amazon and Netflix. Easy hop to Blue Ridge Parkway, hiking and biking, wineries, Boone. About a mile to downtown. Watch wildlife from the private rear deck or walk the 2.6 acres of grounds, part landscaped, part garden, and part natural. Adjacent to greenspace/parkland. Dogs allowed! (limit 2) Pet fee charged per stay.

Carolina Wine Cottage

We have lovingly restored this 1940s farmhouse in Elkin, located just minutes from some of North Carolinas best wineries! We have all the amenities to make you feel right at home. After a day of winery hopping, come back and enjoy some more wine and cheese in the beautiful, new spacious kitchen, or relax out back at the fire pit, taking in the expansive views! The quaint town of Elkin is located minutes away for dining and shopping, or go for a hike at Stone Mountain!

Moonshine Mini-Mansion. Enjoy the NC foothills!

Welcome to our Moonshine Mini-Mansion. The home is on 8 acres in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina and has just the right amount of every season. Only 30 miles to Boone and 6 miles to Faithfest and Merlefest! The entire home was refurbished with all new finishes, new paint, soft close cabinets, and new flooring in 2019. This is a cozy house, and it is on land aka 'in the sticks.' Due to it being out in the country, you may see a bug or two!

Log Cabin/Wine Country/Hot Tub/Fire Pit

Make some memories at this rustic, hand built log cabin. This cabin was built using reclaimed pine logs from local tobacco barns. Both bedrooms are located in an OPEN LOFT upstairs. Privacy curtains are installed but do not block out noise The cabin is full of amenities including washer/dryer, hot tub, antique clawfoot tub with shower, full kitchen, jacuzzi tub, large back deck, game area with foosball table, and beautiful views of the little Brushy’s.
