Experience Wasilla like a local in this BRAND NEW guesthouse or make it base camp for your next Alaskan adventure. Close to town and close to local amenities. This guesthouse is attached to our private shop behind our home. We love our long summer days and the midnight sun and stay busy with a greenhouse and garden. We have 3 kids ages 14, 12, & 11. We are around unless out of town on our own adventure! Watch for free range chickens, wild bunnies, and an occasional moose or two. Welcome!

It's small but private - it's separate from the main house so no need to worry about noise! It's in the heart of downtown Palmer, perfect for walking around town or using Palmer as your base camp for exploring Alaska. Safe, secure and family-friendly. Forestlane Cottage 2

Our 2021 constructed craftsmen cottage is nestled in the woods but very close to Palmer. This is a quiet 8 acre parcel but only 5 minutes from breweries, shops and restaurants in downtown Palmer. Close to Hatcher Pass, Independence Mine, Glaciers, Hiking, Musk Ox and Reindeer farms. The owner's house is also on the property and they are available to you throughout your stay. The owners have lived in Alaska for over 40 years and are committed to helping you with all there is to experience!

The views from the large windows and deck are stunning. Try some fishing, skating, kayaking, swimming or walk the trails. Grilling on the deck or a bonfire ( ask for firewood) overlooking the lake are great evening activities. Not the outdoor type, you’ll find this a peaceful place to unwind. Located 13 miles from Wasilla makes this spot ideal as your hub to exploring Alaska. We are happy to host your pets(dogs only) pets not allowed in any beds. Excessive pet hair will be charged $50.

Close to Iditarod headquarters, Selters Bay Golf course, 30 minutes to Hatchers Pass, 1 hour to Talketna, fishing, hiking, breweries, mountains and much more.
