Our cozy Alaskan cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood just minutes from the wild backcountry of Hatcher Pass, Skeetawk ski area, and the gorgeous cross country ski and downhill bike trails of Government Peak Recreation area. It is the ideal adventure landing-pad with all the warm comforts of home you would need after a big day in the wilderness. Palmer and Wasilla are a mere 10 and 15 minute drive in either direction with groceries, amenities and unique local dining options in abundance.

Join us at Alaska's Year-Round Playground! Enjoy the beauty of Mt. McKinley & Sleeping Lady right outside your front door. With this dog friendly property, the whole family can relax & make great memories together! We also rent: (summer) Pontoon Boats, Jet Ski's, Kayaks, Paddle Boards. (winter) Snowmachines! Sleep comfy on the beds made up w/ nice linens in our prime location! Relax in a chair, sit by the fire, take a hot tub, sauna, catch a fish or just watch the sunset or the Northern Lights.

Little Bear Cabin, Talkeetna Little Bear Homestead

Little Bear cabin is nestled along the Boreal forest w/Caswell creek flowing through the property. You will hear birds sing, wind blowing the leaves of the birch tree and watch fish in the creek from kayaks or on our private trails.Our cabins are a place to reconnect. Also a first choice area for outdoor activities! World class fly fishing, hunting,snow machining,dog sled tours, skiing,hiking,rafting and more! Kayaks are also included for guests to explore the creek here at Little Bear Home

Simple Alaskan Beauty Cabin

A "Tiny Cabin", there is 1 full bed. No sleeper sofa. The kitchen counters are refurbished old barn doors, the long wall is pallet wood, the wood floors have been torched and sealed for a rustic look. The cabin is 12x20, perfect for two guests and a small child can sleep on the loveseat (not a pullout) There is one full bed in the cabin. It is a dry cabin, (no ability to shower) We do provide a counter top water system (5 gallon jugs) to freshen up and bottled water in the refrigerator.

Talkeetna - “The Crows Nest” - a view of Denali

This is a private location away from the hustle of Talkeetna yet only 10 minutes away. It sits in the woods that makes one appreciate the wilds of Alaska. Perched on a hill, it offers the full view of Denali and the valley below. There is a full kitchen for those that want to be self contained and also a covered deck to enjoy the outside while enjoying the view. It has a roomy shower and a queen bed. The area has trails that can take you to the river or just explore the woods of Alaska.

Two Lakes Cabin

Nestled between two lakes with some of the best lake trout fishing in the Matanuska Valley, enjoy your stay at our quaint 1940's homestead cabin. Don't worry, we have added modern conveniences to make your stay comfortable. Sip coffee at my granny's table while you plan your day, take in the mountain views from your kayak on the lake, and enjoy a cozy evening campfire. Make this cabin your home base as you explore some of Alaska’s top attractions!

Bent Prop Cabin A

Cabin style stay with 2 bedrooms 1 full bath. 1 queen size bed, 2 twin beds in loft. Full kitchen, coffee pot with coffee, every basic need to cook. 5 minutes from downtown Wasilla. Close to Iditarod headquarters, Selters Bay Golf course, 30 minutes to Hatchers Pass, 1 hour to Talketna, fishing, hiking, breweries, mountains and much more. (At this time late check out or early check in is not available sorry for any inconvenience)

Chum Cabin at Montana Creek & Suana

Our cabin is in a private wilderness setting on a beautiful stream. There is a wood-fired sauna for your use and it’s located a mere 50 yards from the cabin. In mid-July through mid-September salmon often swim by your deck. Our single room streamside cabin rests on the Southfork branch of Montana Creek, built from local spruce and birch. We do not have television or hot running water; our bathroom is a cozy outhouse.

Homestead Cabin West

Secluded solar powered tiny house with King size bed, black out blinds, kitchen. deck, BBQ,hot and cold running water and a composting toilet. Wood stove, Wood provided. The cabin will be warm when you arrive. Stereo with bluetooth. Pets are welcome I have worked hard to create a place that I would want to stay in. I hope you enjoy it!
