Hidden away down a quiet, single track lane (no traffic) surrounded by countryside and wildlife - binoculars and bird book provided! Famous for its 1920s operatic owners, the Music Room was used for Concerts by the English Singers, attended by London's melophile, Bohemian society, including Lady Ottoline Morrell, and the local Hardys over from Max Gate. 'Conker hut' is a handcrafted, rurally positioned hut set on the grounds of a country Manor, which is located in the heart of the Isle of Purbeck, with Poole Harbour situated 2 miles to the North, the Jurassic coast 3 miles to the south and the historic site of Corfe Castle 2 miles to the west. The hut is cosy, well equipped and perfectly suited for a rural retreat, however please don't forget, you are staying in a Shepherds hut and not a luxury apartment therefore there is no WIFI nor TV.

Sit on your secluded decking and watch the steam trains roll by whilst enjoying relaxing drinks and a bbq. On colder days huddle up on the sofa in front of the logburner or wrap up for some glorious local walks. The historic villages of Corfe Castle, Worth Matravers and Kingston are within walking distance of around 30/45 minutes, with lovely pubs at the end!
