Atmospheric cabin in the Arctic Circle

The house is in a particularly quiet village of Juokseng on the Swedish side of Tornionjoki. Suitable for families, fishermen, snowmobilers, berry pickers, skiers, hikers or people who just like nature. The yard is big for outdoor games and the beach is nearby. There are also skiing centers within a 12-20 km radius. The river is less than 1 km away. The village store is approx. 1 km. There is another cottage in the same yard that can also be rented.The sauna is shared by both cabins, if agreed.

Tule nauttimaan maaseudun rauhasta ja luonnon kauneudesta kauniin Kemijoen varrella, vain 17 kilometriä Kemistä pohjoiseen. Täydellinen paikka irtautua arjesta. Täällä voit viettää lomasi luonnon helmassa. Mökki sopii parhaiten pariskunnille ja se tarjoaa kaikki nykyajan mukavuudet. Sisätilat koostuvat tuvasta, avokeittiöstä, makuuhuoneesta, pukuhuoneesta, pesuhuoneesta, saunasta. Talo on n. 90m2 kokoinen ja vierailla on käytössään koko mökki ja suojaisa piha. Lemmikit ovat tervetulleita.

Due to irregular road maintenance and unpredictable weather, a 4x4 car is highly recommended. We offer transport service if needed.

Arctic Aurora HideAway

A unique nordic beach house only 12 min drive from the Santa Claus Village. With luck here you may see Northern lights from August to end of April. Accommodation with a private suite for 6 adults, with small children even for 8. Modern black house stands on a hill only 25 m from the lake shore, over looking to the Northern open horizon to summer midnight sun. Experiences for example Sauna, ice swim, ice fishing, snowmobiling or Santa on site (plus huskies, reindeer) at additional cost.

hand built round log traditional lapland cabin by the lake with magical forests, animals, and activities. half way between rovaniemi and levi. beautifully simple and with everything you need, one of us must meet you on the other side of the lake when you arrive and take you to cabin on snow mobile or by boat (depending on time of year). we have a hand built separate sauna and a wood fired hot tub on site, (hot tub charges apply) plus lake side fire pit and of course log fire in cabin.

Kesällä pääset nauttimaan ilta-auringosta ja yöttömän yön valosta.Talvella saatat bongata revontulia, ja vuodenvaihteessa näet taatusti paljon ilotulituksia!

Scandinavian lakeside cottage

Enjoy Lapland's nature and lovely sauna in privacy. Accommodation and experiences in same place. Modern cottage (2023, 48m²). Two frame mattress beds and two extra beds from bedsofa, also good for adults. All the beds in same space. See the wonderful landscape and northern lights from frozen lake or through large windows. Timmerstuga Seskarö

Mysig timmerstuga med fridfullt läge. Upplev skogens lugn och morgonsolens glitter över havet. Stugan är rustik med utedass och kallvatten/sommarvatten i köket. Stugan saknar dusch/badkar. Sommartid finns möjlighet att hyra bastu vid Leppäniemikajen på Seskarö, ca 3 km från stugan. Två fina badstränder inom 300 meters avstånd. Seskarö erbjuder mataffär. 28 km från Seskarö finns gränsstäderna Haparanda och Torneå som erbjuder shopping och andra aktiviteter.

Viehättävä hirsimökki Kemijoen rannalla

Rentoudu kauniin Kemijoen varrella sympaattisessa vuodelta 1811 hirsimökissä. Remontoitu nykyaikaisin mukavuuksin v.2021. Pihanavetassa uusi sauna/wc ja grillitupa sekä saunaterassi . Saunan jälkeen pulahda hiekkarannalta Kemijoen raikkaaseen veteen. Rannalla toinen sauna sekä palju, vuokrattavissa erikseen kesäaikaan, sekä huvimaja grillauspaikka ja soutuvene. Liinavaatteet ja pyyhkeet kuuluvat hintaan Maaseudun hiljaisuudessa sielu lepää!

Our peaceful holiday home in Swedish Lapland is perfect for nature lovers, Northern Lights enthusiasts, and sled dog adventures. The house has 3 comfortable bedrooms and can accommodate up to 5 guests. It’s located in a remote area of Överkalix, near a large lake. The town center and its shops are just a five-minute drive away. The house is fully equipped and includes snowshoes, sleds, games, a barbecue hut (Grillkota), and a sauna.
