Chicken Coop Guest House on Olympic Peninsula

Originally the cottage was a chicken coop on this 5 acre ranchette nestled in the small farming community of Happy Valley. As the valley became more residential the cottage has been nicely converted to a comfortable indoor/outdoor living space. Pasture and farm still abound and mix with wildlife and recreation. Olympic National Park and Forest just to the south. Strait of Juan de Fuca and Dungeness Recreation Area to the north. Pacific Ocean to the west and Hood Canal and Seattle to the east.

An authentic Pan Abode log home, the “Pray for Salmon Cabin” is located on the Olympic Peninsula along the Dungeness River with acres of natural forest to explore and find solitude within. And if you’re a fan of “Virgin River”, you’ll feel like you’ve arrived at Mel’s cabin. This cabin has been thoughtfully renovated with custom details throughout and is fully equipped with everything needed. Red Owl Orchard

Enjoy a stay in this historical 1909 farmhouse, which has been updated with modern amenities while still maintaining turn of the century ambiance. The house features a well appointed kitchen and dining area, comfortable sitting room, entertainment area and lots of sleeping space. The fully fenced one acre property includes a patio, raised garden beds and century old fruit orchard that ensure that the venue will be a perfect setting to spend time with friends and family.

The Olympic National Park, Hurricane Ridge and Deer Park are close enough for day trips and Neah Bay and the coast are approximately 2 hours away.
