Majestic sunsets over the South Puget Sound await you at our 70's themed A-frame house, which sits on the edge of a peaceful saltwater cove, where kingfishers, herons, and river otters play. Our house is in a small rural community on the southwest coast of the Key Peninsula, 90 minutes from Seattle, and 45 minutes from Tacoma. We have everything you need for a relaxing get-away: a well-equipped kitchen, books and board games, turntable and records, and a smart TV. Well-behaved dogs are welcome!

Use the kayaks to paddle around Gig Harbor--or paddle to the Tides Tavern or Anthony's seafood for lunch! Complete with two staterooms, a cozy fireplace, and a view of sunsets and Mount Rainier! Sunset Lagoon Retreat is located on a private island in the Puget Sound of Washington. Enjoy your own private beach, paddle boat, kayaks, row boat, seafood filled lagoon, & spectacular views of the Olympic Mountains all framed in a different Sunset every evening. Outdoor activities to experience without leaving your retreat. How about fresh oysters, mussels or clams for dinner from your own seafood farm? Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families and sea food lovers.

Waterfront Cabin on the Sound

Looking for a quiet place to get away “glamp” - our special cabin is the place for you. The cabin is SMALL and cozy. Right on the water with use of kayaks, paddle boards, & canoe. It features a queen bed in upstairs sleeping loft as well as a couch that pulls out into a double size sleeper, covered kitchen & private hot shower located OUTSIDE. There's an easy-to-use Incenelet toilet. Someone will meet you to go over check-in when you arrive. We allow you to bring 2 dogs - $50 each.

Just an hour from Seattle and 1/2 hour from Tacoma, this private island beachfront cabin is the perfect getaway. Enjoy the expansive water views, hot tub, and beach access. Take the kayaks to go exploring and you may see seals, porpoises, even whales. You'll enjoy two separate living spaces on the one property - the main house and the bungalow. Herron Island is in Case Inlet on Key Peninsula. It's about 3 miles around, and might just be the friendliest place on the planet!

Relax on the large covered deck that overlooks the passage with gorgeous views of Hartstene Island and the bridge. Powerful heaters let you enjoy the deck even during the coldest and rainiest days. The home offers 120 feet of private beach! You will need to walk the stairs to get to the beach, we are on a medium to high bank.
