If you choose to stay inside, there are plenty of windows to view the great outdoors from any spot in the cabin,even the tub!

The Pet Friendly Big 8

The Big 8 offers 8 acres of peace. It is located in a ranching town in western Colorado, with access to Crawford State Park, where you can swim, fish, paddle, and enjoy the views of the Gunnison National Forest. The Black Canyon is nearby, with more spectacular views, hiking trails. The nearby towns of Paonia and Hotchkiss offer a variety of restaurants and music venues, along with the local Bar and Grill, where you can mingle with the locals. Want to bring your horses? In Spring, Summer and Fall there is excellent hiking, fishing, hunting, riding dirt bikes, ATV's and 4-wheeling. Winter is a wonderland and an amazing place to snowshoe, cross country ski or snow mobile. Pets allowed.

River View - Cabin 7

Great cabin with 1 queen bed, kitchenette and private bath. Can add 1 full size bed for $20 with advance notice. 2 night min. stay for holiday weekends. Bedding, towels, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, refrigerator and basic kitchenware provided. Pond and river view. Our new wifi has been reliable. Pet fees are $15 per pet per night to be paid on arrival, no pets on furniture, must be leashed, picked up after and not left unattended in cabins unless crated.

The Solargon

The Solargon is inspired by elements of Asian yurts, Navajo hogons and Native American hidatsa lodges. Combined with passive solar design principles, the solargon is an octagonal structure designed to take full advantage of the sun. The vaulted ceilings and plentiful windows make the solargon bright and inviting. This is a perfect spot for solo travelers or couples looking for a quiet, off the beaten path place to get away from it all.
