Constructed in the early 1900s, Jacqueline's Cottage is located behind Myrtle Bank, a larger home built in 1835, which is also available for nightly and weekly rental. The cottage is tucked away in the back of the property, giving it plenty of privacy and relaxation. Together with Myrtle Bank, it makes a perfect compound for wedding parties and large family gatherings. Alone, it is a perfect retreat for long Natchez weekends, offering close proximity to downtown and the mighty Mississippi.

Thunder Ridge —Entire House pet-friendly near NOLA

Thunder Ridge at the Forest Retreat is an adults-only pet-friendly getaway. Children may come only during specific holidays. Your house will be unlocked. Check-in is a 3 p.m. Here you are surrounded by the Homochitto National Forest. Take a picnic to the sand-bars along the pristine spring-fed creek. Hike or mountain bike on the remote forest roads. The Garden House features 3 bedrooms with queen size beds, a large backyard with outdoor seating, and swings. During the fall, you will see many deer and wildlife around the property. This is a truly unique place.

This Southern-style home is a short walk to downtown on the trail along the Bluff. Sitting on the covered front porch, you can enjoy the park-like setting. Inside, are high ceilings and spacious, open living areas. There is Tupelo Cottage behind the home, connected by a breezeway which is available also. Each place has separate entrances, porches and driveways. My place is good for couples, families and business travelers.
