Here you and your companion(s) can experience the quiet and relaxing life on a farm with plenty of adventure awaiting just around the bend. Sit and enjoy a sip of coffee or tea on the front porch while watching the cattle graze the pasture across the road next to a rustic white barn or venture about 3 miles to the largest privately owned lake in Madison County. This quaint cozy cabin offers a retreat from life's hustle and bustle with breathtaking views and a serene environment. The Black River Cozy Cabin is perfect for family vacations or a romantic get-away. With a secluded lake out the back door and two fire pits for roasting marshmallows and hot dogs, there are plenty of outdoor activities without even leaving the property. Of course, there is always more to explore in the area as well; including the Black River, which is just a short hike away.

Peaceful , family-friendly cozy cabin. Take a short drive to enjoy river fun, canoe and kayaking. Step outside in the morning onto the wraparound deck with a cup of coffee and listen and enjoy nature. Take a hike on the paths, roast marshmallows, make s’mores and hotdogs by the large fire pit, and many more things out in nature. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway from the city or a night to rest on your way to wherever. Our cabin is also very unique with 3 full hookup campsites.

St Francis River: The Blue Yurt and Hot Tub

Let your adventure begin inside the tranquil experience of this 20 ft yurt. Don't let the space fool you, the uniquely curved walls give ample space for a romantic getaway or a relaxing time with friends. The clear dome top provides a magical viewing experience from the queen size bed. The yurt is nestled in the heart of the Ozark Mountains. The expansive, romantically lighted, wrap-around deck provides a panoramic view of the St. Francis River where you can immerse yourself in the hot tub.

Enjoy a comfortable stay at this unique lakeside retreat. This home offers two bedrooms and one bathroom. Start your day with coffee and a view of the lake. You’ll stay a short drive from several surrounding conservation sites. Bring your fishing pole and kayak! End your day relaxing by the fire pit and watching the sunset on the lake. We now offer event rentals for elopements, small wedding receptions, and small family reunions up to 18 people for an additional fee (message for details).

The Happy Camper - Glamping & Black River floating

A great place to unplug and get away from it all! The Happy Camper includes a covered outdoor kitchen area, a firepit and additional beds in the adjacent cabin. The location is located nearby numerous outdoor gems including the Black River, Taum Sauk, Mountain , Sam Baker State Park, the Ozark Trail and mountain biking areas. The property has a year-round creek flowing through it to enjoy and explore. The adjacent "Cabin on the Creek" is also available to rent if you need more space.

Clearwater Lake Red Roof Cabin

Less than a mile away from Clearwater Lake Marina, swim area, and spillway, this recently renovated cabin has all the amenities you need to unwind and relax. The cozy one-bedroom cabin includes new appliances, a washer/dryer, a fully equipped kitchen, and stocked bathroom to make you feel right at home. In terms of entertainment, we offer Wi-Fi, Roku TV, DVDs, various games, cards, and children's books. Outside, you can enjoy cozying up by the fire pit or grilling on the outdoor BBQ.

This treehouse features a gorgeous floor-to-ceiling stone indoor/outdoor fireplace, vaulted ceiling, and many large windows which provide natural light and beautiful views. The interior design fuses natural elements of wood and stone, with a more refined and polished urban country look. A partition wall creates intimate spaces w/in this large (950 sq.ft.) open floor plan. Come see the baby alpacas and stay at the most tranquil and private getaway retreat in Arcadia Valley, Missouri and reconnect with nature. Our alpaca farm is nestled on over 28 acres in the Saint Francois Mountains next to the Mark Twain Natl Forest. The lodge is the perfect place for fishing on our 4-acre lake, relaxing after a long day of hiking, and meeting a small herd of alpaca. Your group will have an opportunity for a one-hour meet-and-greet scheduled at your convenience.

Cozy new built cabin on a bend of the beautiful Black River. You’ll walk up the 14 stairs to a large screened in covered deck with hot tub and sitting area, and gas grill. The glass doors and windows allow you views of the river. The theme throughout is Indian-Aztec. Accommodates only two adults. If you’re looking for a peaceful/romantic get away this is the perfect place. Located approximately 2 hours south of St. Louis, and less than 15 minutes from Poplar Bluff, MO.
