Come enjoy this peaceful private getaway in a beautiful country setting that is still close to town and the bourbon trail. The cottage offers two bedrooms (one king, one queen) and one bath with an open floor plan, fully stocked kitchen, W/D, front and back covered porches, and don't forget the animals! We have mini Highland and High Park cattle, a horse, friendly barn cats, and spacious natural surroundings. There is also a walking trail along the woods, and a beautiful pond. Dogs welcome too!

Perfect for a couple's getaway, it has open lofts with a comfy king-sized bed, a kitchen stocked with all the essentials, laundry room, wood burning stove & two bathrooms: one with a walk-in shower & one with a soaker tub. This 1,100 SF farmhouse is open and spacious - surrounded by nature with beautiful views. Don't be surprised if you see deer, wild turkeys, rabbits, and fireflies! Very comfortable and relaxing inside and out. There is an inviting deck for enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of wine by the fire pit. Also, a cozy gas fireplace inside! No smoking allowed. Rough River Lake Area, Cozy, peaceful apartment, in a Christian community, in McDaniel's, KY. Near Rough River State Park. Campgrounds nearby, 60 minutes to Mammoth Cave National Park. Lake beaches nearby. 45 minutes from Glendale. There is not room for boats or trailers, only for two vehicles per apartment.
