Southern Pacific Caboose at the Iron Horse Inn

This 1964 bay window steel caboose car features queen bed, private bath with jetted Jacuzzi tub, sitting room with table and chairs, A/C, and back deck near the creek. It also has a mini refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. We serve a continental breakfast inside the Inn, so please book the correct number of guests as we cook breakfast according to the number of guests in each room. Our cabooses are pet friendly with a 25.00 per stay. Caboose has a coffee maker, microwave & mini fridge.

Enjoy easy access to town, wine country, and mountain adventures from this conveniently located home base. La Casita is a fully detached unit adjacent to our main home. It provides a living area, walk-in closet and bathroom. We are located in a quiet neighborhood two miles north of town. You can easily access the University, restaurants, and entertainment options. Mountain adventures await with local hikes and a full array of mountain activities. Our Manual will provide some recommendations.

The Wood House

The Wood House is a beautiful blend of both old and new while also having the luxuries needed to create the perfect stay. The exterior of the house is a striking mix of old-world charm and modern design, featuring a creative use of reclaimed materials. The interior is fresh and new including more unique touches and modern amenities. These elements give the house a distinct personality, blending contemporary aesthetics with a rich and eclectic feel. The little historic mining town of Roslyn, home to shops & restaurants, is a short 10 minute drive away. *A shared laundry space can be available. Please inquire.

The Depot House

Come stay in our conveniently located house just 6 blocks from Central Washington University and Historical Downtown Ellensburg. This house is located on a quiet bikeway for low traffic noise. A 1930’s home has been updated and feels open, clean, and welcoming. There is a cozy and private patio in the back to enjoy a cold beverage from one of our local breweries or a hot cup of coffee in the morning. Please come enjoy Kittitas County from this comfortable landing spot.
