Above the Trail

Prefer short term stays of 28 days or less, but open to discussing a longer stay. The carriage house is private so that you feel separate from the main house. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood on the side of Eagle Ridge Mountain. You will be six kilometers from downtown Grand Forks, a short drive with lots of shopping. You can easily access to the Trans Canada Trail around the corner from the carriage house where you can hike, bike, ATV, cross-country ski; an outdoor enthusiast's dream!

This cozy 640 sq. ft red log cabin is tucked up in the woods. The bedroom has queen bed. A 200 sq. ft loft has a queen and 2 twins, accessed by ladder (see pic). Full kitchen & BBQ (electric). 3/4 bath (shower). 32" Flat screen, Blu-ray, stereo. Romantic gas fireplace. Limited WiFi & cell coverage, come unwind, relax & recharge. Covered deck offers excellent wildlife observation. Owners have large people-friendly dogs, so no pets allowed. In winter, 4WD vehicle or chains strongly advised.

Very comfortable queen bed upstairs, with spiral stairs leading to a rooftop deck. Full kitchen, dedicated workspace, tiled bath with shower, hot tub and fire pit available for comfort outside. Colville National Forest, multi-use trails, several rivers and lakes are all within a short drive. Enjoy winter and summer activities. Canada is about a hour drive; Idaho about a two hour drive.
