Comfort and good sleep. It comes with curtains, a reading light, power adapters, a luggage space and a security locker. *We are a smoke-free hostel. This is a newly refurbished modern Japanese style hostel in Kawaguchiko. The Twin Room (room size 6.6㎡) has the bunk bed for the maximum of 2 people. It is located about 10 minutes away on foot from Kawaguchiko station. We provide the following amenities: shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hairdryer, clothing hangers, Wi-Fi, laundry machines and car park. There is an air conditioner in each room. The members of staff are also here to help you with any tourist information!

Japanese Private Room with Toilet Max 3 people

This washitsu* has a Japanese low table and zabutons* on tatami* flooring. You sleep on futons* laid on the tatami, and you can sit directly on the tatami or zabutons set on it. Toilet is inside the room. All of our rooms are non-smoking ones. There is no TV in the room. Washitsu*: Japanese style room Zabuton*: Japanese cushion tatami*: Thick straw mats that cover the floor futon*: Traditional Japanese bedding consisting of padded mattresses and pliable quilts.

The hostel Saruya Hostel opened in 2015 in Fujiyoshida, a city at the bottom of Mt Fuji. We renovated an 80 years old wooden house to create a place that allows our guests to experience time and space through carefully selected art, design and objects, mixing traditional Japanese inspiration with modern aesthetics.
