The cabin is a destination all on its own. Fish from the pier or banks on the privately managed eight-acre lake. There is a john boat which is quite old, uses paddles, and is in fair shape (feel free to bring your canoe or john boat.). A paddleboat and paddleboard are available for guest use and swimming. Enjoy walking the property and visit the onsite hoop house and orchard for free seasonal fruits and vegetables. Have fun by the outside fire pit roasting marshmallows with friends and family!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful, updated home just 7 minutes from the University. Centrally located yet in a super quiet, safe neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of students and university activities. The house is fully stocked with everything you need, including a fridge with ice maker, cookware, dishes, coffee makers (both kinds), blender, mixer, toaster microwave, etc. We have ATT fiber internet (very fast) and smart TVs with dish network plus a sports extra package.

Our one queen bedroom, one bathroom Rustic Cabin is great for a quiet,secluded get away and an opportunity to commune with nature. There is Serta sofa bed for the additional 2 guests! We have a stocked Bass, Bream and Catfish lake that is Catch and Release. We also offer access to the Lakehouse equipped with air/heat, fishing equipment and a refrigerator stocked with bottled water. We recently added a Pedal boat to also utilize if desired. Life jackets provided.

During your stay, you can enjoy an evening around the fire or even drive 1 mile to Lake Tuscaloosa to embrace the gorgeous views of the lake on a private two story boat dock. This is the perfect spot where a newcomer or a local can experience a unique property that is secluded and serene.

Quiet Country Chalet

You are in for a treat with the best Airbnb experience. You will get to sleep on Purple mattresses in our queen rooms and Lulls in or twins. This is a two story home with 1 queen on the main floor and 1 queen and 2 twins upstairs. If you want to bring more than 6 guests, please let me know so we can put out a couple air mattresses. There is a grass airstrip right outside the house! Small planes occasionally fly in and out.

Super high speed internet. 44 miles from Bryant Denny Stadium so it's the perfect spot to stay while visiting the University of Alabama. 42 miles from Columbus, MS. A 5 minute walk takes you to downtown Fayette where you will find the Art Museum & the Train Museum. The cottage has one bedroom with a queen bed & ensuite bath with washer/dryer.

Country lake home for private fishing

This 3 bedroom, 2 bath country home is located on two private lakes for fishing. The property is only 34 miles from the University of Alabama and 50 miles from Mississippi State. You will have a large television to watch and a pool table for fun. There is a large covered patio with a charcoal grill to sit and enjoy the lake view. Across the road there is a fire pit looking over one of the lakes.
