Return from a long day of skiing to warm up in the wood fired cast iron tub by the river or enjoy the six person electric hot tub with lounger and watch the Salmo river flow by. Moosu Guest House is a railroad style cabin designed for two people with 12 foot ceilings and floor to ceiling windows in the bedroom for a superb stargazing experience. The private outdoor spa features a salt water cedar hot tub and barrel sauna. Turkish spa towels and cozy robes are provided to complete the spa experience. As part of your stay you will be welcomed with a package including coffee from Nelson’s two iconic roasters Oso Negro and No6 Coffee Co, and tea from Nelson’s Virtue Tea.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway, right on the lake and nestled in the mountains. Located in a very quiet neighbourhood with a secluded beach within very short walking distance. It’s an 8 minute drive to the beautiful village of Kaslo and a 10 minute drive to Ainsworth Hot Springs. It's a 30 minute walk to the stunning ‘Fletcher Falls’; an amazing waterfall and quiet beach. There is also year round use of a hot tub which overlooks the stunning view of the lake and mountains.

The Rusty Bear - Waterfront home on Kootenay Lake.

The Rusty Bear is our awesome home in Procter Point. Our rock beach on Kootenay Lake gives way to a world of watersports possibilities including kayaking, SUP and world-class fishing. The small community of Procter offers a General Store (complete with fuel and liquor) as well as the Village Bakery (with their famous cinnamon buns). Hiking and biking the Proctologist trails are just out the front door. Golfing is around the corner. Dining, if not on our amazing deck, is a short drive.

Swim,Kayak,canoe,sail,mountain bike,cycle, golf,ski, x-country ski ! it's all close by. Centrally situated to get to Nelson,Ainsworth hot Springs,Kaslo,Whitewater ski hill....

Beautiful Kootenay lakefront house, newly renovated and ready to make your next vacations memories worth remembering. Quaint artisan town nearby, Ainsworth hot springs, hundreds of hiking trails, beaches, free ferry, wineries, fishing and the best nature has to offer. Unwind to the call of loons and soaring of eagles/ospreys. Access to the lake can be obtained by going five minutes in either direction from the house one of the several public beaches.

Kick off your shoes and take in the serene view at our cozy hilltop suite. Enjoy a kitchen stocked with every comfort you expect, plus specialty coffee equipment you’ll love. Wind your way across the road and down the trail to our private sandy beach, and roast some marshmallows on the campfire while you’re there. Novelty and adventure are nearby: only 3 minutes to Nelson, 28 minutes to Whitewater Ski Hill, and 1 minute to Lyons Bluff hiking trail.
