Scenic Point Cottage @ the Heights

The property is located next to Scenic Point on Highway 7 in Jasper. The gift shop is adjacent to our property. You cannot ask for a better location for your trip to the Ozarks. You’re not far off the Highway, but you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere due to the tranquility of the space. This is a perfect spot to call "home base" during your hiking trip to Jasper or float trip on the Buffalo National River. Also, a side note; the inside fireplace is not usable but the outside firepit is.

Centrally located to climbing, hiking, and floating this downtown Jasper home is 102 years old and a short walking distance to cafes, shopping, and the Little Buffalo River. Features your own private entrance, excellent water pressure, and additional amenities. New comfy mattress and able to provide additional sleeping area in separate living room. Our secluded cabin sits on a mountainside between Ponca and Jasper, near the Buffalo River. The cabin has 3 bedrooms (2 upstairs each with queen bed, one downstairs w queen bed & twin bunkbed, 2 twins in entry, 1 futon upstairs), two remodeled bathrooms, central AC/heat, WIFI, Roku TV, small deck with charcoal grill, large dining room table & lots of windows. 2 miles from Horseshoe Canyon Ranch, 2 miles from Steel Creek, 4 miles from Ponca, 5 miles from Kyle's Landing, 9 miles from Jasper.

After a day of hiking the local trails or floating the Buffalo National River relax in the spa overlooking the treetops taking in your surroundings. At the end of your day enjoy a drink by the firepit while gazing up at the stars or by relaxing in the dome while looking out at the view. Your Dome away from home awaits!

Get away and unwind from it all at our private little cabin tucked away off the beaten path on 80 acres of wooded serenity in the Ozark mountains. My husband and I have enjoyed this cozy, peaceful cabin for several years until we built our new cabin home next door. We absolutely love this place and confident you will too! We are off Hwy 327 about 3/4 mile down a gravel road. 4x4 or all wheel only to prevent spinning uphill. The cabin is 8 miles from Jasper and 2 miles from Parthenon.
