The Bunkie - Nanaimo's forest retreat

'The Bunkie' is a private home tucked away at the foot of Mt. Benson, offering a comfortable place to escape from the stress of daily life. This 1350 sqft fully-furnished one-level home with wrap-around deck was built in 2017. The home is surrounded by 8 acres of quiet forest, and only steps away from a multitude of recreational trails. The Bunkie is ideally situated as a 'homebase' from which to explore all that beautiful Nanaimo, and Central Vancouver Island has to offer!

Clean, cozy and comfortable basement suite with private entrance/self check-in. A 5 minute drive from the Departure Bay ferry terminal. TV w/cable in the lounge, laundry and food prep area including microwave, toaster oven, induction hotplate, rice cooker and mini fridge. Tea/coffee, a few simple breakfast items provided. Traveling with more than 2? A second bedroom in the suite with a double bed will be made available for an extra fee. Approved pets are welcome too!
