Caterina, the apartment with terrace on the second floor. Comprised od two big rooms with matrimonial large beds and two private bathrooms. An obscure legend persecuted her and the prejudice around was that she was austere, cruel and power seeking. Historians today celebrate the grand political and regal personality that she was.

The Tower was created in the late 1800s by an illustrious Englishman, Sir John Temple Leader, in one of the oldest and most important stone quarries belonging to the Medici family. From the same quarry were extracted many important works such as the columns of the Medici chapels, the steps of the Laurenziana library .. all just 5 km from the historic center of Florence.
