Built mainly from wood sourced from the surrounding forest, this private paradise is conveniently located within 5 Kms of all Quadra Island amenities. The tranquil landscape includes big trees, perennial flower and vegetable gardens, an expansive lawn that is great for an afternoon bocce session, and many private areas to escape with a glass of wine. A separate office and a new wood fired sauna is also available for guests!

Arbutus Cabin is situated amongst old growth fir and arbutus trees and is part of Quadra Island’s history. Despite a few improvements over the years, the cabin maintains its character reminiscent of its heritage. It’s tucked away in a small grove of towering Cedar and Fir trees, but in the heart of uptown Mansons Landing with stores and a bakery cafe just steps away. It is ten min. walk to swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking at kid-friendly Sandy Beach, or a 15 min. walk down to an ocean beach and Mansons Lagoon. Friday Market and Cortes Museum are a short stroll away.

Family friendly Cabin in the Garden, Quadra Island

Welcome to the Huckleberry house, a private cabin 3 minute drive from the ferry and within walking distance to the shops in Quathiaski Cove (10 minutes) and the ferry (15 minutes) Your private cabin is in the garden area of our backyard. Our house/cabin are nearby, but your cabin is its stand alone structure. It is common to see Bald eagles and Ravens soaring overhead and deer grazing in the yard. Great launch point to explore all the amazing adventures Quadra has to offer !

Whaletown Lagoon Floathouse

Our " floathouse" has everything a guest could want, privacy and a beautiful waterfront location on the Whaletown Lagoon. There is a shared family dock for launching your kayaks, swimming, or just relaxing and watching the changing of the tides. Its vintage ambience combines much of its original historical nature and water travels with modern updates. A former bunk house for hand logging camps and part of our floating household, its traveling days are now over.
