Peaceful Getaway

Peaceful Getaway in the country, 15 min from Winnsboro. Right off main hwy, 3 minutes to grocery store, 20 minutes to Walmart. In between Monroe, LA & Natchez, MS - both cities one hour away. Great to visit them & come back to a tranquil setting away from the city noise. 20 minutes from fishing! Apartment is attached to our home. It has private entrance. There is WI-FI and Smart TV, no cable. We provide kitchen so you can make your own breakfast. Guests can remain completely secluded or visit!

The Old Courthouse museum is visible from the back courtyard and the historic downtown is just a short walk. Have coffee on the pier, watch a spectacular sunrise, lay in the hammock, and enjoy an evening under the stars. (No Pets and No parties allowed. Penalty’s applied for violations.)

Thunder Ridge —Entire House pet-friendly near NOLA

Thunder Ridge at the Forest Retreat is an adults-only pet-friendly getaway. Children may come only during specific holidays. Your house will be unlocked. Check-in is a 3 p.m. Here you are surrounded by the Homochitto National Forest. Take a picnic to the sand-bars along the pristine spring-fed creek. Hike or mountain bike on the remote forest roads. River View Loft in Historic Downtown Vicksburg, Ms. This one of a kind Loft features over 1700 sq. ft. of original wide planked wood floors and brick walls. It overlooks the Yazoo Diversion Canal, the Mighty Mississippi River and Bridge on one side and facing the Old Court House and Historic downtown on the other. Our cabin is located on a secondary road behind a locked gate nestled in the forest on six acres of property surrounded by pine and hardwood. Beautiful Brushy Creek is steps away from the porch. The Homochitto National Forest is minutes away. Here you can enjoy hiking, biking or bird watching in the quiet while watching wildlife. We also have games & TV/DVD player hookup only. Take a day or afternoon & go looking for arrowheads, fossils & other treasures like gold rocks.

Secluded cabin in the woods-Tinmann Retreat

My place is close to Okissa Lake, Clearsprings Recreational area, city of Natchez, and the Natchez Trace.. it is only 2 1/2 hours from New Orleans, or less than 2 hours from Baton Rouge. You’ll love our place because the property is located in the middle of the Homochitto National Forest. It is secluded and quiet. No plane, train, or automobile noise.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).

This Southern-style home is a short walk to downtown on the trail along the Bluff. Sitting on the covered front porch, you can enjoy the park-like setting. Inside, are high ceilings and spacious, open living areas. There is Tupelo Cottage behind the home, connected by a breezeway which is available also. Each place has separate entrances, porches and driveways. My place is good for couples, families and business travelers.

Lake Bruin Getaway

Our camp is on beautiful Lake Bruin. Best known for skiing & fishing! When you arrive you'll realize it's also a great getaway!! We have a cozy rustic camp and outdoor area. Most of you're time will be spent outdoors enjoying & relaxing! We have a pier with a covered boat slip. There's no roughing it here. You will enjoy inside and out on your next vacation!
