In recent years it has been converted into four modern apartments but holding on to as much of it’s industrial history as possible. The Smelting Works is in the centre of Truro, though quietly tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of the Town Centre which is just five minutes walk away. Train station a 5-10 minute walk away and close to all transport links.

Acorn Barn a unique former cow house

Get away from it all with a cosy stay in a unique little barn conversion on a small holding with poultry, sheep and pigs. Acorn Barn sits at the end of its own driveway across a field set above a small CAMC 5cl. At night you may hear owls in the valley and the usual country noises by day from nearby working farms although the barn itself is double glazed and previous guests haven’t found any noises intrusive. You can see the railway line and look down on the duck pond and watch the poultry.

The Lodge (Truro)

A very light space during the day and a cosy retreat at night. It is 5/10 minute walk to the city centre with shops and restaurants. There is plenty of parking . We will leave everything you will need to have an easy and enjoyable stay. We are located in a quiet private road. Just to advise, I do not charge a cleaning fee but the extra service fee you are charged is taken by bnb .
