Cob Cottage

Channel the pursuit of pause in this one-of-a-kind earth house. The cozy retreat was hand-sculpted using local and sustainable natural materials, and features a central living space with cantilevered slab stairs leading to the loft bedroom. Guests have access to the entire cottage and surrounding property. We live in the neighbouring house, and are happy to give advice or answer questions to help you make the most of your stay. The neighborhood is quite rural and mostly agricultural with several farms and a small private vineyard. The home is a 10 minute walk from the beach and a 20 minute walk from a family grocery and deli specializing in local organic produce. Mayne Island has a small community bus. Times and routes are limited, particularly in the winter. It will stop at the driveway. We also have an official hitch hiking system with signed Car Stops where you can wait for a ride. Usually you don't have to wait long. We are happy to offer pickup and drop off at the ferry dock as a courtesy to encourage car-free travellers, on days when the community bus is not running. Please let us know ahead of time that you'll be coming without your own transportation, and we will make sure that either we or the community bus (which will drop you off at our driveway) are there to meet you when your ferry arrives. The BC Ferries terminals near Victoria and Vancouver are easily reachable via public transit from their respective airports and downtowns.

Rosie's Studio

Rosie's Studio is a very special place decorated with original paintings by the late Salt Spring Island artist - Rosemaria Behncke. This large, unique cottage/studio is situated on a 25 acre farm in the peaceful south end of beautiful Saltspring Island, close to parks, beaches, Fulford Shops and the Ferry Terminal. Relax in this quiet pastoral setting and enjoy the sweep of the ocean out to volcanic Mount Baker. We welcome families with children and pets. Update: Emily the duck has passed.

A stay at the Granary comes with a tour of the Keating farm if you choose! Our guests have loved learning about the history and future of the farm. Nestled in a Gulf Island cedar forest, our cozy cabin is a private, quiet, romantic, and peaceful retreat. Walking distance to nearby Sea Star Vineyards and Winery and amazing bluff hikes overlooking Saturna and other Gulf Islands, this cottage is the perfect getaway for couples or as a writer's or artist's retreat. We are LGBTQ+ friendly and welcoming. The cottage is an open concept building with a queen bed. The smell and sounds of the forest will bring calm, relaxation, and peace.

Located on beautiful South Pender! A new 760sf cottage, custom built with all amenities catered for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Vaulted ceilings, 3 skylights, K Size bed, gas fireplace, streaming services, fully stocked kitchen and stunning décor. Explore the island and return to a quiet space surrounded by trees and an ocean view. Watch hummingbirds and resident fawns feed as you enjoy the 300 sf expansive deck facing the private ½ acre yard. Sorry, we don't host children.

Cliff Top Family Home Over Looking the Ocean

This beautiful home is located on Oxbow Ridge on Pender Island with a breathtaking view over Poets Cove. It offers a landscaped yard with chairs to relax in to admire the views. There is a smaller cottage that tenants live in on site in an adjacent building, they have a dog on site who may pop over to say hi. The main house is the owners personal home and live in it during the year. Please note that we have two private areas that will be closed off to guests in the house.

Relax on Orcas Island in this quiet and peaceful guesthouse high up on Buck Mountain. Enjoy gorgeous views and spectacular sunsets, south to Olympic Mtns and west to Vancouver Is. Amazing rock fireplace, large fully stocked country kitchen, sunroom with 180 degree view of it all. The home has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a den. Two large ocean-view decks, a hot tub overlooking the ocean and a tidal islet where otters, seals and birdlife congregate, and even the occasional Orca sighting!

Our cottage is within walking distance to the Driftwood Center, Cidery, Marina, and Winery!
