The Garden House

Our get-a-way is an oasis on a beautiful island, at the end of the road. We are very close to Fillongly Park with its beaches, views of nearby Hornby Island, and old growth trails along the creek. Our garden house is tucked behind the main house. It's surrounded by abundant landscape, woodland, a seasonal stream, and our horse pasture. The house and it's surroundings are private and peaceful. You may see the horses, a peacock, tree frogs and deer, but you won't see any traffic or crowds.

Beautiful little cottage on homestead just 12 minutes from Qualicum Beach. Come connect back with the land and walk the gardens on this quaint little farm. We have Nigerian Dwarf Goats to cuddle with and many free-range chickens. We offer farm tours and fresh coffee. Lots to explore in the area and a quick drive to the beach or old growth forest. Nestled in the trees mere steps from the water you will be welcomed each day by amazing sunrises, ocean wildlife, and a peaceful calm that is hard to find. Spend your day watching wildlife on the porch, beachcombing, or visit the many attractions nearby. Cafes, restaurants, artisans, groceries and seafood markets are all just a short drive away. Backyard cabin with loft bed and outdoor shower

Sweet little backyard cabin to hide away. Minutes to the beach and moments to the woods. Spend a lazy couple days with a good book. Breathe the fresh air. There is a double loft bed accessed by ladder. Half bath (seasonal outdoor shower) and the basics for a cup of tea or coffee and light breakfast. Mini fridge and microwave. Please note: there is no cooking area and cabin is max 2 people. Unfortunately, due to liability, no children under age of 12 since bed is accessed by a high ladder

Launch your kayak or paddle board steps from your front door and explore some of the most beautiful waterfront in the world. Hiking and mountain biking trails are minutes away or just relax and enjoy the incredible sunsets. Amazing wildlife including orcas, whales, otters, seals, sea lions, eagles, are frequently spotted right out front. Our small, cozy cabin is full of retro, funky details and has a small kitchen area. Grocery store and restaurants are less than 10 minutes away.

We are very close to the famous Parksville beaches and the highway to Tofino.
