Our historic home was built in 1901 and has been completely remodeled with modern conveniences, fully stocked kitchen with fireplace and beautiful walk in shower. I designed this home to have 2 separate living spaces with private entrances on opposite sides of the house. The front is the vacation rental entrance accessing the entire first/lower level. My entrance is on the back side of the property. My family owns part of Lake Shore Island located on Guntersville Lake. There are 5 houses on our property scattered over 8 acres. My home and vacation rental is about 3 football fields from the shore, up the hill, providing beautiful views of the lake.

Our second home is a mix of mid-century modern and "cabin in the woods." It sits on 2 heavily wooded acres and backs up to a mountainside with rock outcroppings. The main living area (living room, dining area, and kitchen) is raised about 4 steps, and the bedroom and bath areas are on the main level. There is one large bathroom with a shower. There is an electric fireplace surrounded by ledge stone in front of the u-shaped built-in sofa. There is abundant reading material & 2 TV's.

The Bamboo House

Welcome to Bamboo House. It's a 3br/2ba ranch style house. We call it Bamboo House because of the large bamboo that lines the back of our property. We are conveniently located 5 miles from I-65. It has a kitchen with fridge, stove, dishwasher and Keurig coffee maker. The master has a Queen size bed with dressers and TV. The master bath has a small stand up shower with closet. The additional bedroom has 2 twin beds with a large closet. There is also a designated office with a large desk.

Centrally located to explore Middle Tennessee and Northern Alabama. One bedroom with 1 double bed. A 6 foot couch in bedroom can flatten and serve as a comfortable bed. There is also a queen size air mattress available.
