We invite you to stay in our completely remodeled 1940s cabin. Our goal is to provide a superbly clean & comfortable stay with access to a multitude of outdoor activities. Very short drives (or medium walks) to both Midtown and the Grindstone Lake. Ski Apache, Ruidoso Downs Race Track, Smokey Bear Historical Park, Billy the Kid Museum, and many more beautiful sites and parks are also nearby. We are family-friendly and love dogs. “Sprucewood” is one of the few original 1940s split-log cabins in the popular and wooded Upper Canyon. Redwood was designed for romantic weekend getaways or extended stays. It offers two covered decks; one over looks the tall ponderosa pines off of the main living area with seating and gas fire table, The second Covered deck offers a private Hot Tub, seating around the gas fire table and a Gas BBQ Grill – two level - 3 steps up to cabin entrance and main level, several steps to upper bedroom level - Wi-Fi in cabin - Roku - DVD/CD player-cabin side parking.
