Great place by Ramblas to have breakfast. Delicious sandwiches, chocolate, cakes and coffee. Highly recommended.

A stroll down the Ramblas stretching from Plaza Cataluña to the port is a must. Stop halfway up and pop into the Boqueria food market (don’t miss the edible insect stall) and perhaps stop for a coffee in the very beautiful little Escriba café nearby. Christian Escribà is a bit of a legend in Barcelona - half master baker, half Willy Wonka, totally unique. He has a bigger shop and café on the Gran Vía de les Corts Catalanes.
