It's the flavor of old SF nightlife with a fresh spin. On the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month, Smoked Out Soul connects some of the Bay Area's most talented musicians with top DJs to a backdrop of live mixed visuals in a very intimate setting. Whether you hear thought-out sets and/or off-the-cuff jams, guaranteed it will always be super funky. No two nights sound alike thanks to rotating guests, but Chris Fox is always setting it off upstairs, so come early to hear him and stay late for when the musicians and DJs start pushing the boundaries—the end of night jams are legendary.

A nightclub gem in the heart of Downtown SF. This is a 2 level venue with one of the most expensive and awesome sound systems. Great local DJ's mostly house music and afterhour events. Members of Metallica like to party there.

Great steampunk old-timey themed bar that also has a killer sound system downstairs and lots of live shows. They often have arial silks dancers suspended from the ceiling that you can watch while you drink!

This is one of the best clubs in the city and has a very SF vibe along with one of the best sound systems in the city.

Monarch gracefully dominates the corner of 6th and Mission as a rare multifunctional venue that is equally suited to an evening of sophisticated lounging and craft cocktailing, as to a night of music, movement and debauchery.
