The best spot in all of Richmond to have lunch when there's a bit of sun. The tea house and restaurant are located in old glasshouses of this fully functioning gardening nursery. A bit on the pricey end but you are paying for the location. Not much parking so take a cab or walk from the Richmond waterfront along the tow path

There is a cafe and restaurant in this nursery. Book ahead for the restaurant. Petersham Nurseries is a tranquil oasis and seedbed of inspiration.

Up market garden centre with café and restaurant frequented by celebs and celeb spotters. Great food, expensive and achingly 'cool'.
