An international historic site, this church experienced a massive fire June 3, 1994 due to a story someone told a young boy and encouraged him to start the fire in the basement of the church. As the story goes, the boy was forgiven by the church and received a lot of healing around the situation. Noted for its architecture. HRH Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, returned to Halifax in 1978 and spear-headed the commissioned the plans based on the round architectural style. Read more under Prince's Lodge.

One of the few round churches, during the summer months is open for guided tours. Burnt in 1995, it is now fully renovated and worth a visit.
