Also called the city beautiful. It was designed and developed by George Merrick in the 1920's and still preserves the style of his designs. The city offers so many sports, shopping and entertainment options. Books & Books and the Coral Gables Art Cinema are two of my favorite places.

(<20 minutes) Great outdoor dining and walkable areas all along Giralda Street and Miracle Mile. Home to the University of Miami. Favorites: Bulla Gastrobar, Books & Books, Zitz Sum, Paletas Morelia (fancy Mexican ice pops)
