I just got back from a 2 night stay in one of the giraffe suites. the experience all around was amazing. Being able to feed Puzzles the giraffe from the comfort of your room was very cool. I can’t speak to all of the additional add ons you can do, but the dinner and encounter with their ambassador animals was totally worth it. the entire property is well maintained and very peaceful just to stroll around. Kristen and her staff do an awesome job caring for and tending to the various animals and educating visitors about them. Would definitely stay again

I'm not sure I can adequately put into words how incredible our stay was at the Pitchfork Suite. The beds were comfy, the space was tidy and unique, the amenities were perfect. Seeing, feeding and waking up to giraffes was something that we will never forget. We absolutely loved our time with Puzzles and Jigsaw. The staff was attentive, kind and knowledgeable. They responded quickly and were beyond helpful. This was one of our favorite stays ever and we will always look back fondly at our time at Oak Meadow Ranch.

Such a cool experience to be able to open your front door and see camels and longhorns! I do wish we had been better prepared with snacks and drinks. Our kids were hungry/thirsty multiple times and we literally had nothing to give them and the vending machines only took exact change which we did not have. I guess I assumed since they have a restaurant that there would probably be a snack bar of some sort but that is not the case. Just be sure to pack snacks and drinks and you will be fine!

We had a fabulous stay at Oak Meadow. We stayed in the King Ranch suite with Puzzles and Jigsaw the giraffes.
The room was lovely with lots of little touches, like chocolate and an ice maker.
The actual interaction with Puzzles was amazing. He was friendly and loved eating his lettuce and carrots. We were both very taken by him.
We ordered takeaway in as we anted to make the most and sat and ate our pizza whilst he looked in the window.
Nothing was to much trouble for our hosts, they were absolutely lovely. We were made to feel very welcome. Would highly recommend for all animal lovers.
