The place okay, not worth the price, and host was inconsiderate, a liar, and greedy.

I had to book this Airbnb very quickly. My husband is in the Navy and was hurt over deployment. We had hospital visits and exams last minute. The dates were accepted by the host within a few hours the same day we booked. We realized the dates were wrong. We requested a date change and refund that same day but the host refused. She claimed she didn’t handle any refunding which is a lie. It was about 250$. We contacted Airbnb and thankfully they gave us a complimentary refund. The host pretended to have given us a refund but Airbnb told us she declined it, another lie. She also claimed HOA was watching our reviews so we shouldn’t review, another lie.
We booked the Airbnb, she accepted the dates, and we requested a change, all within the same day. She could have changed it but she took the money instead. Also the curtain rods are held up by zip ties and the one in the kitchen fell and hit my husband.

We made our reservation at the last minute and had a very good response. The apartment is very good but two details that were very noticeable: the heater makes too much noise and when there are people in the apartment above all the noise is heard more at night.

This place is nice and I would stay here again. There was no hot water when we arrived and I had to figure out how to turn the heating tank. Otherwise, it was good for the price.

This was our second time staying at Cathy's apartment but in a different unit. The first unit we stayed at was a studio, and the most recent was a 2 bed/2 bath. It is very spacious and equipped with the essentials. The only con would be that the upstairs neighbor was very loud at times, but we really only needed a place to sleep, so it didn't bother us since we were out most of the day. The location isn't necessarily within walking distance of the city but is close enough to be a cheap Uber away from the action. I def recommend this location. I will def come back anytime I am in San Diego. Thank you Cathy!
